Born in Gdańsk (1983), I grew up in a bilingual and open-minded household that encouraged my interest in languages, culture and traveling from an early age. I completed my master's degree in international relations and political science at the Universities of Göttingen (Germany) and Groningen (Netherlands) with exchange placements in Uppsala (Sweden) and Pune (India). I started working as a trainee in the European Parliament, then moved to a European umbrella association as Communication Manager, expanding their visibility and reach to decision-makers and journalists.
In 2014 I moved from Brussels to the financial hub London and worked for several listed institutional asset managers in strategic marketing until 2020. Working closely with sales and investment experts, I was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing campaigns (focus products: index funds / ETFs). I could clearly see how sustainability and ESG criteria became more important in the dynamic financial industry.
Being a mother in particular has reinforced my basic values and convictions. I realized I couldn’t compromise on a self-determined, conscious and flexible lifestyle in line with my long-term goals: stopping climate change, promoting ethical and gender-specific diversity, continuous personal growth & financial independence, work-life balance, to name just a few. These ideals were the catalysts to co-found H2Energy Solutions from my hometown Hamburg. In addition, I am a passionate equity investor and focus on sectors such as renewable energy, fuel cells, electromobility, artificial intelligence and fin-tech. Having completed a full marathon twice, I gained abilities such as focus, determination and willpower, applicable in sport as well as business.
